Andrew has lived in Bude for many years and took his Driving test in Launceston. Whilst training to become an Approved Driving Instructor Andrew taught his daughter to drive on his own private car without dual controls , she passed 1st time with just 3 minor faults and we are still friends!
Andrew has been an Approved Driving Instructor since 2006 and is a highly graded ADI who achieved a Grade ‘A’ at his last Standards Check. These are carried out by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) periodically to ensure Clients are getting good value for money and that teaching standards are being met.
When considering learning to drive it is essential that you find an Instructor to suit you. Andrew can assure you that lessons taken with him will be conducted in a calm and patient manner. Nervous pupils need have no worries as his aim is to encourage pupils throughout their learning experience, building confidence whilst preparing them to drive with a safe and courteous attitude for as long as they drive.
Andrew is confident teaching all ages of pupils from age 16 years (Registered disabled) right up to retired individuals who have taken a decision to achieve their goal. In addition Andrew is happy teaching individuals with learning or physical disabilities.
Working in a professional manner is paramount and a requirement by the DVSA. Andrew is fully conversant with The Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency Code Of Conduct and will adhere to it at all times.
